Global Entrepreneurship Week Congress 2012
New Zealand will participate in the 4th Global Entrepreneurship Congress, held in Liverpool on March 9th 2012. This will be an incredible chance to represent New Zealand among over 120 nations, make connections and to learn from global thought leaders about leading edge ideas on the stimulation, growth and education of entrepreneurship as an engine for change and prosperity.
The Global Entrepreneurship Congress is emerging as the premier global, inter-disciplinary gathering of startup champions – where entrepreneurs, government officials, investors, researchers, thought leaders and policymakers from 120 nations work together to bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
For the first time, the Congress will take place against the backdrop of a larger Festival of Entrepreneurship with an array of simultaneous meetings, competitions and activities throughout the City of Liverpool. These satellite events are targeted toward participants of all backgrounds, including: the International Research and Policy Roundtable led by Dr. Robert Litan of the Kauffman Foundation; a Startup Weekend event run by Marc Nager; a Cleantech Open competition with Rex Northen; and many more from exemplary practitioners and support organizations capitalizing on a global gathering of their national leaders.
