Submit your existing event

You can align any existing event to Global Entrepreneurship Week as long as it works to enhance New Zealand as a more innovative or entrepreneurial place:

  • Provides your event with free advertising (on our website, Twitter, Facebook social networks and newsletter)
  • Aligns the event and event organisers as global participants
  • Provides your event with a global reach – you’ll become a participating member of an important global movement of 119 countries.
  • Is seen by New Zealand’s top entrepreneurs, business communities and thought leaders.

What kind of existing events?

The size of the event can be small (minimum of 3 people) or large, and events can be private or public…

Popular types of existing events attached to Global Entrepreneurship Week include:

  • Organised business networking (e.g. speed networking) events.
  • Business training or coaching sessions dealing with innovation and/or entrepreneurship.
  • Business meetups (startup and innovation themes).
  • School business meetups on themes of start-ups/innovation/entrepreneurship.

Don’t forget: you can also create an event specifically for Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Restrictions and requirements

In general we have a relaxed approach to the use of Global Entrepreneurship Week but there are a few conditions, mostly around notifying us of your event and your proper use of the Global Entrepreneurship Week brand and name.

You can not: display the name Global Entrepreneurship Week or any logo in your event’s branding, name, or sponsorship approaches for your event.

You can: display the GEW logo at the event (see ‘resources’ for downloadable printable high-res banner below) and display the GEW web badge on your website (see ‘resources’).

You must submit your event online (see below).

After the event we ask that you send us your photos so we can update your event listing
